What is Temporary Visa?

Temporary visas are nonimmigrant visas, which allow nonimmigrant to enter the U.S. for a temporary period of time and restrict their activities to be consistent with their visas.

What visas are temporary visas?

The following listed temporary visas are widely used by non-immigrants in the United States.  Certain visas are work visas which entitle the visa holder to work for the sponsor of the visa.  Other visas are non-work visa under which employment is not allowed or  is allowed when conditions are met.
