Labor Certification Validity Date Ending on Weekends or Holidays

The Department of Labor (DOL) has established a 180-day validity period for all approved labor certifications.  An approved labor certification must be filed in support of a form I-140 petition during the  validity period of the labor certification.  If not, that labor certification will expire and can not be used anymore.
